Our Mission
At Sky Bound Performance Arts Center, our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of aerial performers by providing a safe, supportive, and non-competitive environment where children and families can grow in creativity, strength, and confidence. We value creativity, positivity, and collaboration.
We believe that progress looks different for every flyer. Whether it’s climbing for the first time, mastering a new skill, or simply gaining the confidence to try something new, each milestone matters. Our classes are designed to meet students where they are, combining structured skill progression with space for creativity and self-expression.
Safety, positivity, and community are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to create a space where students not only grow as aerialists, but also build resilience, confidence, and a love for movement that lasts far beyond the studio.

Meet Julia
Hi, I'm Julia!
About 10 years ago, I answered a job posting for a receptionist at a circus school—and I’ve been hooked ever since. Not long after, I began my own aerial training, quickly falling in love with both the art and the community that surrounds it.
Over the years, that passion has grown into a love for teaching. I find the most joy in working with kids who are just as excited to learn as I am to teach—helping them build skills, gain confidence, and discover what they’re capable of.
We’re incredibly lucky to have such a vibrant circus community in Rochester, and Sky Bound was created to be a part of that growth. My goal is to provide a space where the next generation of aerial artists can feel supported, challenged, and inspired to flourish—both in the air and beyond it.
